Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for a Day Shift RN!

Job Description:


- Shift: 3x12 Days (07:00 - 19:30)
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend, with flexibility based on needs

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year in specialty nursing required
- Experience with adult patients, including those with:
- Chest pain / acute coronary syndrome
- Cardiac arrhythmias
- Diabetes
- Syncope
- Permanent pacemaker insertion
- CVA / TIA / stroke assessment
- Pneumonia
- Heart failure
- COPD
- Sepsis
- GI bleeding

Specialized Skills:
- Cardiac / telemetry monitoring
- Pulse oximetry
- Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
- Negative pressure isolation (AFB)
- Dialysis
- Administration of continuous intravenous infusions and IV push medications (Level 3)

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor vital signs and patients in telemetry
- Conduct thoracentesis and paracentesis
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including:
- Physical Therapy
- Respiratory Services
- Phlebotomy
- Radiology
- Social Services
- Rapid Response Teams
- Pharmacy
- Unit Secretary

Certifications Required:
- RN license for South Carolina
- Advanced Life Support (ALS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Additional Information:
- Orientation hours: 24
- Submittals will require:
- Social Security Number
- A background check and compliance tests

Modules:
- Required completion of modules within 48 hours of receiving login
- Reimbursement available for time spent, up to 16 hours

Traveling Notes:
- Must float to other units or facilities as needed
- Stay within 100 miles of the facility to ensure eligibility
