Step into an impactful opportunity as a full-time Occupational Therapist supporting students during a maternity leave coverage from September 8th through the end of November. This contract position focuses primarily on elementary learners, with opportunities to make a meaningful difference for a small group of students with significant developmental needs. The schedule consists of four days working within the main district and one day providing OT services at an external district location, creating variety in your weekly routine.

Ideal candidates bring expertise working with school-aged children, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for fostering independence in children of all abilities. You’ll benefit from the variety of caseloads and environments, utilizing your OT skills to address a broad range of student needs.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes and student documentation
• Capacity to adapt strategies for both elementary students and those with significant developmental disabilities
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Reliable, organized, and comfortable managing a flexible schedule on multiple campuses

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary and selected students with severe developmental needs
• Assess students, develop individualized treatment plans, and adapt interventions as needed
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
• Maintain timely, compliant documentation aligned with school and district expectations
• Travel to an additional district site one day per week to provide services
