Job Description Come join the Outback family as a Cook, where you will passionately preparing, portioning, and cooking food items to Outback’s quality specifications. As a Cook, you will be committed to safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards during the shift. You will also be preparing food with proper safety equipment, tools, and recipe specs. As a Cook, you’ll help provide each customer with an AUS‑SOME dining experience through your passion and commitment. Closed Thanksgiving & Christmas Day to spend the day with family & friends! Responsibilities Prepare food items with speed and accuracy. Work as part of a team to achieve standards in preparation and delivery of food items. Maintain equipment and cleanliness of surroundings. Use proper safety equipment, tools, and recipe specs with further direction from Management. Practice food safety and sanitation, restock kitchen and cook line as needed throughout the shift. Requirements Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs; work in hot and cold environments. Ability to walk, stand, or bend for long periods while performing essential job duties. Vision capabilities including distance, close, color, depth, and peripheral; ability to adjust focus.
