Details Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab setting Adult and geriatric patient population, including middle adult and older adult age groups Procedures include diagnostic and left/right heart catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, rotablator atherectomy, cardiac stent placement, IABP placement/removal, and cardiac implant closure device procedures EPIC charting system used 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM On-call requirements apply May float within scope to sister facilities within a 20-mile radius Requirements Minimum of 18 months of recent cath lab experience required, preferably within the last 3 years; 2 years preferred BLS and ACLS certification required ARRT-R certification required CCI RCIS certification preferred; RCVT certification also preferred License required if applicable Proficiency in scrub procedures, maintaining sterile field, and equipment set up Skilled in recognition and interpretation of life-threatening arrhythmias and dysrhythmias Experience functioning as room circulator and scrub technician in a cath lab setting Knowledge of infection control, isolation precautions, PPE, and sterile technique One professional reference from a direct supervisor, ANM, or director in the applicable specialty required Additional Information First-time travelers accepted Locals accepted at the same bill rate All requested time off must be discussed and finalized prior to starting the assignment Travelers are expected to work every other holiday Ceil blue scrub color required Facility is 100% smoke and nicotine free with drug screening requirements including nicotine testing COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical/religious exemptions only EKG and pharmacology testing required during orientation with limited attempts allowed Time-sensitive orientation modules must be completed promptly once confirmed for the assignment Permanent or per diem staff cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date American Traveler Job ID P-748556.
