Project Controls Accountant/Project Controller

Job Summary: Project Controls Accountant
- Develop and implement processes for tracking inventory and storage costs for engineering and construction projects.
- Prepare and post accurate journal entries to ensure proper financial recordkeeping.
- Perform monthly accruals and account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
- Track and monitor project invoices to support timely processing and payment.
- Support month-end close activities and contribute to financial reporting.
- Identify and document process improvement opportunities in accounting procedures.
- Utilize strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Work independently, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Use advanced Excel skills daily; SAP experience required, SAP BOBJ and Power BI experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; CPA preferred.
- Report to and collaborate with the Project Controls team at NextEra Energy, Juno Beach, FL.
