Apigee DeveloperDuration: 12+ Months ContractLocation: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)Rate- $65 to $73 per hour on Pinnacle W2End Client- Wells FargoJob Description:About this role:The client Enterprise API management team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support client’s API Management activities in Enterprise API management domain.The Senior Software Engineer will support development and management of applications related to Credit Card Acquisitions Platform.Key Responsibilities:Lead moderately complex technical initiatives and deliverables within API and integration platforms.Provide technical expertise in Apigee, IBM DataPower, API development, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and production troubleshooting.Support and drive the successful migration of APIs from DataPower to Apigee, ensuring platform stability and operational excellence.Partner closely with business and technology teams to resolve issues, address escalations, and deliver reliable solutions.Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to resolve moderately complex technical and operational challenges.Work with engineering and product teams to modernize the API ecosystem, accelerate delivery of strategic business objectives, and reduce operational risk.Lead projects, act as an escalation point for critical issues, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.Engage with stakeholders and partner teams to ensure seamless adoption and support of API platform capabilities.Desired Skills and Experience:Strong handson experience with Apigee and IBM DataPower platforms.Proven experience in API design, development, security, and lifecycle management.Solid understanding of automation, DevOps practices, and CI/CD implementation.Strong troubleshooting, problemsolving, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to lead initiatives and work effectively across multiple teams and organizations.Required Qualifications, US:A BS/BA degree or higher4 plus years of Software Engineering experience4 plus years of APIGEE API design and development experience2 plus Years of Data power Platform experience4 plus years of Java development experience2 plus years of Microservices experience2 plus year of cloud native application development using PCF/AWS/Azure3 plus years of experience working with Java Script/ JS libraries like Angular/ React/ Vue.2 plus years of database experience in SQL Server and Mongo DBStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsIn this contingent resource assignment, candidates may:Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and largescale planning for Software Engineering.Review and analyze complex multifaceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.Contribute to the resolution of complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.Required Qualifications:5 plus years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
