This position is responsible for managing financial transactions related to automotive sales and ensuring all records are precise and compliant with company policies. The role operates within the dealership accounting office and requires close collaboration with sales and finance accounting teams to reconcile billing discrepancies and maintain up-to-date customer accounts. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall financial health of the organization by facilitating smooth billing operations and supporting audit processes. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to learn Dealership software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Possess a general understanding of bookkeeping Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field. Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds software Knowledge of retail trade billing practices and compliance standards. Familiarity with basic accounting principles and financial reconciliation processes. Responsibilities: Audit sales documents for compliance, accuracy, and completion Accurately bill out deals and post them into the accounting system Stock in new vehicles Receipt in funding Post to GL accounts and reconcile accounting schedules Preparing management reports Scanning and filing Back-up other desks as needed The required skills enable the Automotive Billing Clerk to accurately process and manage billing transactions, ensuring all financial data is precise and up to date. Ability to learn and navigate dealership software and Microsoft Excel is essential to maintaining the high level of efficiency necessary as a Billing Clerk. Strong attention to detail helps prevent errors and discrepancies, which is critical when reconciling accounts.
