Cedar Creek is a 1,100 MW simple-cycle gas turbine power project built under a lump-sum EPC contract, with a site workforce peaking above 2,000. As Construction Manager you lead the owner's construction organization: six discipline managers, one EPC contractor, and the senior construction seat on the project. What you get to do: Lead the owner's construction organization across all six disciplines. Govern the EPC contractor against the contract, schedule and quality plan. Review and challenge the contractor's plans, sequencing and resourcing. Verify physical progress supporting payment claims. Drive early review of construction work packages and push back on weak scope. Escalate safety, quality and schedule risk early and clearly. Represent Pacifico in daily and weekly construction meetings. Monitor preservation and storage of equipment and materials across the site. What you bring to the role: 18+ years in power or heavy industrial construction, including site leadership. 5+ years representing an owner over an EPC contractor under a lump-sum contract. Track record on projects above 1 billion dollars with 1,500+ peak workforces. Working knowledge of OSHA construction standards. Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, or equivalent experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobleads-US
