Direct Counsel is partnering with a prestigious AmLaw 10 law firm to identify a Mid–Senior Level Real Estate / Real Assets Associate to join its Los Angeles office .
This opportunity is ideal for attorneys with strong experience in sophisticated commercial real estate transactions who are looking to work on complex matters for institutional investors, private equity sponsors, and real estate funds . The practice handles a wide range of high-value transactions across various asset classes and offers exposure to cutting-edge real assets work.
Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in commercial real estate transactions
Advise on joint ventures, acquisitions, and dispositions of real estate assets
Work on real estate financings and structured investments
Draft and negotiate transactional agreements and deal documentation
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex real estate and real asset investments
Support clients including private equity firms, institutional investors, and developers
Mid to senior-level experience handling commercial real estate transactions
Experience at a top-tier law firm strongly preferred
Background in joint ventures, acquisitions, dispositions, and real estate financings
Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
Excellent academic credentials
Ability to manage complex matters in a fast-paced transactional environment
Admission to the California Bar or eligibility to obtain admission
