Job Position: CAD Technician Location: Elk Grove Village,IL60007 Pay Rate: $26.00/hr Shift: 1st: 7AM-3:30PM Description: Jo Title: CAD Technician Location: Elk Grove Village, IL Pay : $23.00-$26.00 per hour DOE Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM We are seekinga motivated and detail-oriented CAD Technician to join our Product Engineering team. In this role, you will create machine programs, engineering drawings, and technical documentation for standard and custom products while supporting manufacturing operations and continuous product improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: * Create and maintain CAD models, engineering drawings, and design documentation * Develop CNC machine programs (G-code, NC-code, M-code) * Create assembly, inspection, weldment, and sheet metal drawings * Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and part lists * Process Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and update documentation * Support prototype manufacturing and production teams * Design fixtures, jigs, and tooling to improve manufacturing efficiency * Participate in design reviews and implement revisions as needed Qualifications: * Technical degree or related degree required * Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Metacam, and Microsoft Office * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Manufacturing experience preferred * Knowledge of machining, welding, punch presses, and press brakes is a plus * Reliable transportation required Steel toe shoes required Safety glasses required Ear plugs required Associate can report any hazards and concerns to the Illinois Department of Labor by call the Department's Day and Temporary Labor Services Act toll-free hotline at View phone number on click.appcast.io or email at View email address on click.appcast.io Total Talent Resources and QFS does not provide any transportation resources or meals for our associates during any assignments.
