Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting within a Critical Access facility
• Float between units as needed to support staffing and patient care needs across the facility
• Maintain expected patient ratios of 1:5 in accordance with facility standards
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in rotating weekend shifts and commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Complete required orientation modules prior to and during the start of assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room RN experience required
• Active RN license required ; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard terms; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (may include Charge RNs or Leads)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification preferred
• Prior experience working in a Critical Access or rural hospital environment
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
