Registered Nurse (RN), Inpatient - OB ICU, OB Intensive Care Unit

We are searching for an ICU nurse to join our OB ICU team! This role blends adult ICU-level care with high-risk OB/L&D, offering the chance to care for critically ill obstetric patients while also cross‑training into Labor & Delivery. In this position you’ll provide quality nursing care to patients by assessing, planning, educating, implementing, and evaluating age appropriate care in a manner that incorporates family centered principals and cost effective care. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in nursing or other degree in nursing with acceptance or current enrollment in a BSN program and signed agreement Current licensure with the Board of Nursing for the State of Texas or Nurse Licensure Compact and BLS certification are required Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association 9 months of professional nursing experience Knowledge of the nursing process, critical thinking skills, PALS, ACLS and interdisciplinary collaboration Ability to demonstrate positive and appropriate interpersonal skills Demonstrates good time and resource management skills and flexibility skills Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills Ability to operate unit specific equipment Preferred Qualifications If you are interested in OB ICU, we prefer you to have adult ICU experience As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
