HSQE AdvisorLocation: Leeds (with the ability to travel across Yorkshire and surrounding regions as required)Salary: 40,000 - 50,000 + packageContract Type: Permanent | Full-TimeReports to: Senior HSQE ManagerAbout the RoleWe're looking for an experienced and motivated HSQE Advisor to join a growing team. This is a key position supporting the effective management of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental (HSQE) standards across operations.In this role, you'll help ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, while driving continuous improvements in safety culture, systems, and performance. You'll work closely with colleagues at all levels to provide expert support, guidance, and practical solutions that keep people safe and operations running effectively.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about HSQE, enjoys influencing positive change, and thrives in a dynamic construction environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the implementation and maintenance of HSQE Management SystemsAnalyse HSQE trends, incidents, and investigation outcomes to identify lessons learned and areas for improvementConduct audits and inspections, providing clear guidance on strengths and improvement areasAssist with developing and improving processes, procedures, and control measuresProvide HSQE support to operational teams, supervisors, and managersDeliver Toolbox Talks, Safety Briefings, and contribute to new starter inductionsSupport the development of RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements)Assist in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the development of preventative actionsPrepare monthly HSQE reports and support tender submissionsLiaise with regulatory bodies including the HSE, Environment Agency, and local authoritiesPromote and support behavioural-based safety initiatives across the businessAbout YouYou'll bring solid experience in construction HSQE and a proactive approach to maintaining high standards across Health, Safety, Quality and Environment.You're confident engaging with people at all levels, able to communicate clearly, and build strong working relationships. You have a good understanding of ISO standards and CDM regulations, and you're comfortable supporting audits, investigations, and site teams.
