Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Clifton, NJ
Are you a CDL-A driver seeking an OTR opportunity that offers weekly home time and minimal physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we provide dry van routes across the Northeast with excellent equipment and competitive compensation. Experience the freedom of over-the-road driving while maintaining a consistent schedule that gets you home every week.
Home Time:
- Home every week for a 34-hour reset, ensuring you have time for family and personal commitments.
Equipment:
- Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for heating and cooling. You can take your assigned truck home as long as safe parking is available.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations, allowing you to focus on driving with minimal physical work required.
Pay and Miles:
- Average earnings range from $1,000 to $1,450 per week based on mileage and performance. Additional compensation includes detention pay according to customer policy, layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free performance.
Running Area:
- Covering regional routes from Maine to Virginia, all tolls are managed through EZ Pass and toll cards.

- Medical, dental, and vision insurance kicks in the first of the month after 60 days of employment, along with $20,000 company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) with a 50% company match up to 3%. A passenger policy is available after 30 days with age restrictions.
