Senior Data EngineerThe senior data engineer will play a pivotal role in building, managing and optimizing data pipelines and/or datasets and ETL/ELT processes over their life cycles by working closely with a multidisciplinary Agile team. As a Senior Data Engineer you will assemble large, highly complex datasets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements for key stakeholders to ensure the enterprise has seamless access to actionable, meaningful, and well-governed data across all domains.Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Computer Science, Statistics, Healthcare Information Management, Engineering or a related field (Preferred) 4 - 5 years Technical Information Systems Computer Science, Statistics, Healthcare Information Management, Engineering or a related field (Required) Up to 1 year Clinical Healthcare (Required) Exposure to Relational Databases like SQL Server & Non-Relational Databases Experience with ETL/ELT, Data pipelines and/or Datasets & BI tools Experience with programming languages such as Python, C# etc Exposure to Agile methods Other EPIC - EPIC Certification Epic Clarity Data Model Certification within 1 Year Required Other Python Certification Preferred Other Oracle Fusion Certification PreferredJob Responsibilities: Actively contributes and participates in discussions during team meetings, design & planning sessions, huddles, and roundings. Communications with customers, team members are required to be professional, timely, inclusive, considerate, and respectful. Facilitates business requirements discussions with a diverse community of users including clinicians, clinical researchers, and administrators to assist with various data and analytics initiatives. Measured by participation rate, customer service surveys. Adheres to standard operating procedures & coding standards set by the department including code check-in, documentation/extended properties. Measured by dataset compliance to SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), design, development, testing, deployment standards. Obtains & maintains training & certifications listed in the job description and/or set by the Analytics Center of Excellence for a Senior Data Engineer. Provides inputs in creating training plans for team members. Measured by certifications, contribution to the Analytics Center of Excellence, and completed bright idea submissions. Designs, builds & tests optimal queries and/or data pipelines and/or datasets for data and analytics consumers - aligned to business needs using emerging technologies aligned to business needs. Syncing data between various systems to ensure consistency, integrity, and reliable insights gathering from multiple tools when needed. Measured by the number of certified data sets delivered on time meeting data quality and orchestration SLA's.
