Job Title: Metal Fabrication and Assembly Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Metal Fabrication and Assembly Technician, where you will play a crucial role in fabricating and mechanically assembling metal products using specified prints. This position offers competitive starting pay with shifts available for 1st and 2nd shifts.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble metal products using hand and power tools.
• Utilize a tape measure for precise measurements.
• Visually inspect products for dents and scratches.
• Pack finished products for shipping.

Essential Skills

• Experience in mechanical assembly or fabrication of parts.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of micrometers and calipers.
• Experience in general labor and production environments.

Work Environment

You will work in a non-climate controlled manufacturing facility where PPE is required. Steel-toed shoes must be worn from day one, and eye and ear protection will be provided. The dress code includes wearing pants/jeans and short-sleeved shirts, with long hair tied back.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Union, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
