Morrilton, AR Full-Time $14.50-$17.00 per hour Morrilton Abstract Co. has helped Conway County families, Realtors, and lenders close real estate transactions for generations. We are a team of five. We are looking for one more. Here is the part most people are surprised by: you do not need title experience. We will teach you the work. What we cannot teach is showing up on time, caring about the details, and being the kind of person a nervous first-time homebuyer is glad to hear on the other end of the phone. What you'll do - Open and maintain title files, and help with title searches and record retrieval - Answer the phone, greet customers who walk in, and point them to the right person - Create and proof documents; handle email and mail correspondence - Work with customers, Realtors, lenders, attorneys, and county offices - Request loan payoffs and property tax information - Handle post-closing work: recording, scanning, indexing, and mailing final policies What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent - Clear writing, a friendly and professional phone manner - Attention to detail and good organization - Comfortable in Microsoft Word and Outlook, accurate typing, willing to learn new software - Dependable and punctual, able to work on your own and as part of a small team - A real willingness to learn curiosity counts more than a resume here - Employment is contingent on a satisfactory background check Where it goes This job is a starting point, not a ceiling. A Closing Assistant who masters the fundamentals has a clear path toward title examination or closing work, with training and support from our team the whole way.
