Team Leader, Customer Site

Team Leader position at Thermo Fisher Scientific supervising on-site laboratory personnel across service operations including stockroom management, material handling, and cell culture support. Reports to Program/Regional Manager and serves as primary liaison between customer and company.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of on-site team including order management, procurement, stockroom, dock, and cell culture support
• Manage complete employee lifecycle: hiring, training needs assessment, development coordination, and performance evaluations
• Track business metrics, deliver contractual scope, and support customer performance reviews
• Write and implement standard operating procedures, conduct site audits, ensure annual physical inventory completion
• Identify service expansion opportunities and support safety programs including hazard identification and incident investigations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in related field preferred
• 4+ years managed services experience in laboratory setting
• Good x Practice (GxP) environment experience required
• Leadership and supervisory abilities with strong interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and lab inventory tracking software
• Basic chemical knowledge including handling and calculations
• Ability to lift 30-40 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally
