If you are a Professional Engineer in Burnsville, Bismarck, Minneapolis, Rochester or Fargo that aligns with our values, we would love for you to continue reading and apply.What You Will Do:Lead design and coordination of roadway, drainage, and utility projects for our public and private clientsCollaborate with other groups/ disciplines within the company to deliver top quality projects and unparalleled service to our clientsPerform design calculations, quantity and cost estimates, and plan preparationCompile, write, and edit quality technical reports, feasibility reports, letters, memos and specifications for projectsAssist with proposals, project budgets and schedules, planning activities, and public involvement and other presentation opportunitiesOversee the work of EITs or TechniciansPlan, direct, and coordinate project activities to ensure that projects are delivered within prescribed time frames and budgetsRegular communication with the client, project schedule and budget oversight and subconsultant coordinationWhat You Will Bring:Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree from an accredited school4-7 years of experience in Transportation / Municipal engineering or related fieldMN or ND PE license or the ability to obtain their license within six months.Prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents and have a functional understanding of design software packages, preferably AutoCAD Civil 3D and / or Microstation, and HydroCAD.Valid driver's license with a good driving recordExcellent communication skills and a strong work ethic will allow you to excel in this positionAbility to work 40 hours a week.Ability to work in posted locationsWork is primarily performed in an office environment with standard office equipment, occasional travel or field visits may be required to supportWho We Are:WSB is a design and consulting firm specializing in Transportation, Community Planning, Environmental, Energy, Municipal, and Construction services.
