Allied / Tech - IR Tech

Role Overview: The IR Tech is responsible for performing interventional radiology and specialized procedures in a hospital setting. Key duties include equipment maintenance, patient preparation, room setup, sterile technique, and assisting with complex procedures such as angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, and vascular studies. Responsibilities Operate fluoroscopy equipment (GE Innova and Siemens Artis Biplane) Maintain sterile field and assist in procedures like neuro, genitourinary, and vascular studies Manage supplies, setup, and equipment maintenance Support stroke intervention, embolization, kyphoplasty, and port placements Ensure infection control and follow safety protocols, including PPE use Document procedures in EPIC and utilize Pyxis for medication management Participate in orientation and team activities, including call rotations Qualifications & Skills Minimum 2 years of experience with interventional radiology procedures Experience in stroke-certified hospitals preferred Proficiency in abdominal, pelvic, genitourinary, neurological, and vascular procedures Strong equipment operation, maintenance, and sterile technique skills Certifications in ARRT and BLS preferred Ability to work independently, adapt to schedule changes, and follow safety protocols #J-18808-Ljbffr Alpha Home Health and Hospice
