Responsibilities Cloud Systems Administrator - Cyber Missions Team Location: Laurel, MD | Shift: Evening or Mid Shift Peraton is seeking a Cloud Systems Administrator to join our high-impact Cyber Missions team in Laurel, MD . In this role, you'll work hands‑on with a modern cloud‑based analytics platform that supports data‑intensive mission operations. As part of the Operations Team , you'll play a critical role in maintaining system stability, supporting customers, and resolving complex technical challenges. Qualifications Position Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. Certifications: Must have 8570 IAT Level I or higher (Security+ preferred) and one of the below certifications to start in this role: AWS DevOps Engineer - Professional CDP Administrator - Private Cloud Base Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Linux & Networking: 7+ years with RedHat/CentOS, including command line, networking (nmap, tcpdump, firewalls), and kickstart/provisioning. DNS & Network Services: 2+ years managing RedHat DNS, hosts files, and DHCP. Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required. Target Salary Range $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
