Nurse Manager OR

The OR Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing surgical services across multiple specialties including Urology, ENT, Vascular, OB/GYN, Cardiothoracic, General Surgery, and Acute Care Surgery. This leadership role manages daily OR operations, staff supervision, patient care quality, and collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. The position requires strong perioperative leadership experience and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the Operating Room across various surgical specialties.
• Manage and lead OR nursing staff, including scheduling, performance evaluation, and professional development.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Coordinate resources and equipment to support efficient surgical services.
• Implement and monitor policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance within the OR.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and manage patient care outcomes.
• Address and resolve staff and patient concerns promptly and effectively.

• Minimum of 3 years of leadership or managerial experience in a perioperative setting.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience working in an Operating Room.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.

• Experience in multiple surgical specialties including Urology, ENT, Vascular, OB/GYN, Cardiothoracic, General Surgery, and Acute Care Surgery.
• Advanced leadership or management training or certification.
• Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies and regulatory standards in perioperative care.

• Role requires strong leadership presence and ability to work collaboratively with diverse clinical teams.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement.
• Work environment is fast-paced and requires effective multitasking and problem-solving skills.

• Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
• Day shift schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• No holiday shifts required.
