Activities Director

Neuvant House of Lawrence is looking for a caring, energetic Program Director to lead engaging activities for our assisted living and memory care residents. If you enjoy working with seniors and making a difference every day, we'd love to meet you!

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead fun, meaningful daily activities for residents.
• Encourage resident participation and build positive relationships.
• Coordinate activity calendars, special events, and outings.
• Communicate with families about resident participation when needed.
• Work with the care team to create a positive, engaging environment.
• Assist with resident care as needed.
• Complete activity documentation and other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience working with seniors, assisted living, memory care, recreation, or activities is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, dependable, organized, and compassionate.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Willing to complete required Kansas activity training after hire (if needed).
