We are seeking a skilled and licensed Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will have advanced clinical skills and the ability to perform expanded duties while supporting the dentist in delivering high-quality patient care. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a strong commitment to patient comfort and satisfaction.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the dentist during examinations and advanced procedures
* Perform expanded functions as permitted by state regulations, including:
* Placing and finishing restorations
* Taking final impressions
* Placing sealants and temporary restorations
* Take dental X-rays and ensure proper documentation
* Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
* Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures
* Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
* Follow strict infection control and safety protocols
* Support overall clinical efficiency and workflow
