Boston's Bridge To Excellence Inc. is looking for a passionate and driven Lead Teacher/Site Coordinator to join their team in Boston, MA! This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of students by leading dynamic learning experiences while overseeing the day-to-day operations of a thriving educational site. If you're a natural leader with a heart for education, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum
- Supervise, mentor, and support classroom staff and teaching assistants
- Oversee daily site operations, ensuring a safe and structured learning environment
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
- Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and community stakeholders
- Coordinate scheduling, staffing, and program activities across the site
- Ensure compliance with program guidelines, policies, and educational standards
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred
- Prior experience in a lead teaching or site coordination role
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Experience working with youth in an urban or community-based setting
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, families, and community partners
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
