Workday Sr Payroll Functional Analyst

Job Description Ensures software integrity, security, effectiveness, and efficiency. Documents requirements, defines scope and objectives, and aligns systems with business strategies. Assists in creating and maintaining project plans, status reports, and checklists. Supports cross‑team functional integration testing. Creates test scripts for applications and manages client project Open Issues List. Collaborates with technical and functional personnel and consultants to ensure timely task completion. Provides daily payroll end‑user support, troubleshooting production data issues. Conducts functional, unit, system, and end‑user acceptance testing. Develops and implements plans for manual data conversion. Analyzes existing systems and payroll/accounting processes to improve productivity, quality, and software value (PeopleSoft HCM module). Manages risk, scope, and project planning, escalating issues as needed. Completes documentation for all software development life cycle phases. Other duties as assigned.
