PhD Researcher for AI Model Evaluation

Role Overview
Apply research-grade expertise to evaluate and improve AI reasoning in your academic field. This remote contract role supports advanced AI projects across technical disciplines, including STEM and engineering, and humanities disciplines, including English, literature, and journalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for factual accuracy, depth, and quality of reasoning within your field.
- Create expert prompts, reference answers, and detailed critiques.
- Use academic rigor to identify subtle errors and superficial reasoning.
- Help establish expert-level performance standards for AI systems.
Qualifications
- PhD from a top-ranked university in a technical field, English, literature, or journalism.
- Strong research, academic writing, critical analysis, data analysis, technical writing, peer review, and research methodology skills.
- Excellent written English and the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
- Based in an English-speaking country.
Work Terms
- Remote, independent contractor engagement.
Compensation
- $245 to $280 per hour.
