Salary Range: $56,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Caledonia region seeking Estimators. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates—not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepares detailed cost estimates for manufacturing projects, including labor, materials, and overhead.
• Analyzes blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Collaborates with engineering, production, and sales teams to gather necessary information for bid proposals.
• Evaluates vendor quotes and subcontractor proposals to ensure competitive pricing and alignment with project requirements.
• Identifies and quantifies cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses.
• Develops and maintains a database of cost information for future reference and trend analysis.
• Presents estimates and proposals to management and clients, clearly articulating assumptions and justifications.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in an Estimator role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to accurately interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and labor costs.
• Proficiency in using ERP/MRP systems and estimation software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
