Position Highlights

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations across all demographics including pediatric, adult, and geriatric age groups using validated assessments and clinical observations.
• Design tailored treatment regimens addressing both immediate and long-term speech, cognitive, and swallowing challenges.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions concentrating on elements of communication such as language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing.
• Work collaboratively with fellow healthcare professionals, including physical and occupational therapists, registered nurses, physicians, and family members, to devise integrated care plans.
• Educate patients and their families to bolster progress outside of the therapy setting.
• Partake in occasional inpatient evaluations and speech therapy interventions, ensuring a smooth continuum of care throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Keep precise and timely documentation compliant with all legal and organizational standards.
• Engage in ongoing education and professional collaboration to stay abreast of advancements in the field.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Licenses and Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) issued by ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within the first month of employment.
