Die Designer

:

STM has been a leader in the design and build of progressive dies and special machines for over 40 years. Our success is directly related to our commitment to foster a team environment where talented employees find the space to thrive, and right now, we are looking to add a Die Designer to our team.

The Die Designer will be responsible for:

· Creating 3-D designs for Progressive and Transfer dies

· Participating in the Design Review process

· Completing design updates and changes for the Tool & Die Makers

· Verifying accuracy of final designs to coordinate with the completed dies

· Following STM design procedures and guidelines to ensure quality

Candidates should possess the following Minimum Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or GED

· Working knowledge of the die build process

· 2+ years' experience in designing progressive or transfer dies from start to finish

· Proficiency in Solid Edge or NX software

· Competency in MS Office software - Outlook, Word, Excel

· Excellent communication and time management skills

· High level of attention to detail

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
