Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,665 to $2,767 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8-hour days, five days per week Start date: 08/17/2026 Setting: outpatient infusion unit with chemotherapy delivery Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Chemotherapy required Responsibilities Administer chemotherapy and other IV therapies per physician orders in the outpatient infusion unit Monitor patient status, vital signs, and lab values; promptly recognize and respond to adverse reactions Prepare, monitor, and manage infusion pumps (e.g., Alaris) and elastomeric devices Document care, therapies, and patient education in the electronic health record (EPIC) Verify medication administration and reconcile orders with the Omnicell system and related devices Collaborate with pharmacists, physicians, and unit staff to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care Provide age-appropriate care for adult and geriatric patients and support patients through treatment-related effects Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in New York BLS and ACLS certifications required Chemotherapy certification required Minimum of one year of experience in outpatient infusion Experience with outpatient infusion workflows, chemotherapy administration, and related safety protocols Proficiency with EPIC or similar EMR, Omnicell, and communication systems (Ascom); experience with glucometers Familiarity with common infusion equipment (Alaris pumps, elastomeric pumps) Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient infusion setting and to float when needed within scope Benefits and Support Guaranteed hours and consistent weekly pay 24/7 recruiter and travel support Fast credentialing pathway Extension opportunities beyond the initial assignment Nationwide assignments and flexible travel support Dedicated support throughout the assignment Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
