Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician(RBT) certification is required
- Previous experience working with children or students, preferably in a school or related setting
- Solid understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies and practices
- Ability to follow Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and work closely with Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability in working with diverse student populations
- Implement individualized ABA interventions under the supervision of a BCBA
- Collect and maintain accurate behavioral data and session notes
- Support students in achieving behavioral objectives in classroom and school environments
- Reinforce positive behaviors and provide guidance to redirect challenging behaviors
- Communicate ongoing progress to supervising clinicians and participate in team meetings
- Foster a supportive, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere for all students
