Interventional Pain Management Physician

A compassionate and skilled Pain Management Physician is sought to join our team in Haines City, FL. This full-time role involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of pain etiologies, including neuropathic pain, musculoskeletal disorders, and cancer-related pain. The ideal candidate will utilize a multimodal approach, balancing interventional procedures with conservative medication management to provide comprehensive patient care.ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history, physical examinations, and review of diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT, X-ray)Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing a combination of interventional procedures, pharmacological management, and physical rehabilitationPerform interventional pain management procedures, including epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, facet joint injections/medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation trials/permanent implants, and intrathecal pump managementPrescribe and manage medications responsibly, including opioid therapy when clinically indicated, in compliance with state regulations and CDC guidelinesInterpret fluoroscopic and ultrasound images to guide precise procedural interventionsCollaborate with primary care physicians, physical therapists, psychologists, and surgeons to ensure integrated, patient-centered careMaintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical recordsSupervise advanced practice providers (NPs/PAs) if applicableCompensationCompetitive base salary commensurate with experienceProductivity/quality bonus structureBenefitsComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with employer matchMalpractice insurance with tail coveragePTO and holiday payLife and accidental death insuranceShort and long-term disability benefitsShift & ScheduleFull-TimeRequirementsMedical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of an accredited residency in Anesthesiology, Interventional Pain Management, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), Neurology, or RadiologySuccessful completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Interventional Pain MedicineActive, unrestricted medical license and current DEA registrationActive ACLS and/or BLS certification2-5 years of post-fellowship experience preferred (open to new graduates)Proven proficiency in fluoroscopic-guided spinal interventions
