Company Description Northwest Linings & Geotextile Products, Inc. is a premier geosynthetics installer and the largest supplier of geomembranes, geotextiles, and related products in the Pacific Northwest. Since 1973, the company has delivered projects across the Western United States, Mountain and Midwest states, Hawaii, Alaska, and the Western Pacific. Its work spans small underground water reservoirs to large-scale leach pads, wastewater lagoons, landfills, open water reservoirs, floating covers, and hazardous waste containment applications, totaling over 300,000,000 square feet of installations. Northwest Linings is known for highly trained crews, many with over 20 years of experience, and maintains extensive inventory to support customers. To meet growing demand, the company recently expanded its material storage and office space in Kent, WA by an additional two acres.
Role Description The Outside Sales – Construction role is a full-time, on-site position located in the Greater Seattle Area. This role is responsible for prospecting and developing new business opportunities, building relationships with contractors, engineers, and project owners, and promoting geosynthetic and lining solutions for construction and environmental projects. Day-to-day activities include conducting site visits, preparing and presenting proposals, coordinating with internal teams on pricing and availability, and supporting project planning to ensure product suitability and timely delivery. The role also involves providing technical product information, attending industry events or job meetings as needed, and maintaining accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in a CRM or similar system. The Outside Sales professional collaborates closely with operations and field crews to ensure customers receive responsive service and high-quality installations.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Demonstrated sales skills with experience in construction or related industries, including proactive lead generation and closing new business.
- Strong customer service and account management abilities to build long-term relationships and support repeat business.
- Field service and training skills to visit job sites, provide product guidance, and educate customers on geosynthetics applications.
- Knowledge of construction practices, civil or environmental projects, or geosynthetics is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear language.
- Self-directed work style, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines.
- Proficiency with basic computer tools and CRM systems; valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally for site and customer visits.
- Relevant education in construction management, civil engineering, business, or equivalent experience in construction sales.
