Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Hayward, CA. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility regain or improve daily living skills following injury, illness, or disability. This position offers the opportunity to provide patient-centered care in a collaborative interdisciplinary setting.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
Active California Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
Experience working in skilled nursing facility or long-term care settings preferred.
Experience with ADL retraining, home safety evaluations, and durable medical equipment (DME) recommended.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
Experience with documentation systems commonly used in skilled nursing facilities preferred.

Assignment Details

Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
Shift Days: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat.
Guaranteed weekly hours: 35.
May be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
