Senior Personal Injury Attorney Established (100+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Senior Personal Injury Attorney for Plaintiff-Side Personal Injury in Albany, New York An established firm based in Albany, New York with over 100+ years in practice is seeking a Senior Personal Injury Attorney with 7+ years of experience to join their team onsite or hybrid. This role involves leading plaintiff-side personal injury matters including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, construction accidents, and wrongful death cases, with responsibility for complex litigation strategy, high-value case management, and trial preparation while serving as a senior resource within the practice. Offer Salary range: $160,000-$210,000+ contingent on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with firm contribution Paid time off and firm holidays CLE support and professional development resources Bar dues and malpractice insurance coverage Potential bonus and long-term growth opportunities Qualifications Active New York State Bar membership in good standing 7+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience Demonstrated experience handling complex, high-exposure personal injury matters Strong trial readiness with experience taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, and managing experts Proven ability to independently manage cases from inception through settlement or trial Excellent client management, negotiation, and communication skills Responsibilities Lead a docket of complex personal injury cases from intake through resolution Develop litigation strategy, evaluate liability and damages, and drive case value Draft and oversee pleadings, motion practice, discovery, and settlement demands Represent clients in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and court appearances Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate with partners and support staff on case strategy Communicate regularly with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers For this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
