Learn more about what makes MDOC a Gold-Level Veteran Friendly Employer here.To provide dental assistance to the dentist while providing care to the prisoners of the assigned Correctional Facility and other Kinross Administration/Northern Facilities as assigned.Education: Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school.Experience: No specific type or amount is required for Dental Aide 6. One year of experience equivalent to a Dental Aide 6 for Dental Aide 7. Two years of experience equivalent to a Dental Aide, including one year equivalent to a Dental Aide 7 for Dental Aide E8.Alternate Education and Experience: Completion of a one-year program in dental assistance may be substituted for the experience requirement for Dental Aide E8.Special Requirements, Licenses, and Certifications: Some positions within this class series require possession of a radiography certification which involves completion of a dental radiography course taught in a program approved by the Michigan Board of Dentistry, pursuant to the Board of Dentistry, Administrative Rule R338.11307.All required documents must be attached and submitted at the time of application for further consideration.
