We are currently seeking some very friendly & detail-oriented people to join our team and make a difference in Music City! We need the following in a candidate: strong work ethic, outgoing personality, a great eye for details and a desire to work within a happy team.
Position Details –
Pay Range $ 20.00 per hour (Weekly Pay & Pay Advance Before Pay Day!)
Shift/Schedule: 6:00am to 2:30pm
Days off Thursday – Friday or Wednesday -Thursday or Tuesday – Wednesday
Positions Will Require Working Saturday And Sunday
What You'll Be Doing :
- This role will provide a high level of visibility at the street level to carry out a wide variety of cleaning tasks in the zone assigned. Must maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times.
- Actively acknowledge and engage pedestrians and visitors with a friendly greeting/smile in order to provide directions and/or city information.
- Litter removal -- While moving through the zone with a rolling trash can that has supplies/tools, remove litter: fast food bags, cups, soda cans, cigarette butts and other debris on the streets/sidewalks and alleys. Remove graffiti and posters from light posts, trash cans, news boxes, etc.
- Pull weeds that grow at the base of tree wells, in cracks in the sidewalks, and vacant lots.
- Damp wipe and straighten outdoor surfaces, such as trash can lids, news boxes, etc.
- Be watchful for unwanted behaviors or criminal activity and report to the Safety Ambassadors via two-way radios. Must be able to complete basic daily reports of tasks completed which requires being proficient in speaking, reading and writing the English language.
- Interaction with visitors, residents and businesses. Provide directions, walking maps, take pictures and general southern hospitality!
Requirements:
- Experience in hospitality, outdoor grounds keeping, outdoor public spaces outdoor cleaning.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Uniforms provided.
- TN Driver's license in good standing.
- HS Diploma – GED preferred.
- Must be able to walk several miles per day with breaks and lunch periods provided.
