Hospitalist Physician

Forte Human Capital is seeking board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine physician to provide onsite hospitalist services to Veterans at the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Schedule and Coverage

Onsite coverage in 12-hour shifts, supporting a 24/7 operation.
Day and night coverage, including weekends and holidays.
Physicians must complete VA credentialing before being scheduled.

Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
Current medical license in any U.S. state, territory, commonwealth, or the District of Columbia. A Mississippi-specific license is not required for services performed onsite on VA property.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or accepted equivalents.
Clinical experience appropriate to the required hospitalist scope of care.
Availability to support the contract’s scheduling requirements.
