Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:45-07:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: Current RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC within 90 days of hire Must-Have: 2 years experience as a nurse with at least 1 year experience in an emergency room setting. Teamwork mentality. Ability to coach and give feedback in real time. Flexibility to work in all areas of the emergency department. Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department. This facility is recognized as a leading institution for clinical quality and safety. We are the region’s referral center for trauma, stroke, and neonatal intensive care. This department is known for teamwork and welcoming personalities. Our team enjoys serving a diverse community that speaks over 120 languages. The unit typically maintains a patient ratio of 4:1, with up to 7:1 on behavioral holds. Staff support includes technicians and unit clerks available day and night. Advanced skills are required for various procedures performed within the unit. All certifications must be obtained before the start date. Dress code requires navy scrubs. Candidates should be prepared to float to different sections within the emergency department as needed.
