You know how to diagnose tough HVAC problems, make the right repairs, and keep a job site moving, and this role gives you the opportunity to put that experience to work while helping lead the team.

What's in it for You?

• Earn $70,000 to $120,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.

• Work a full time Monday through Friday schedule, approximately 7:30 AM to 4:00 or 4:30 PM.

• Receive time and a half overtime pay when jobs require additional hours.

• Earn additional performance based pay equal to 5 percent on qualifying new HVAC equipment sales.

• A company vehicle may be assigned after a successful field evaluation. Company vehicles remain at the company facility and are not take home vehicles.

Your New Role

• Report each day to the company warehouse in the Harahan and Elmwood area before traveling to assigned job sites.

• Diagnose, service, repair, maintain, and install residential HVAC systems throughout New Orleans, Metairie, Kenner, and Mandeville, Louisiana.

• Lead technicians and installers on assigned HVAC job sites.

• Serve as the primary job site contact and help keep projects organized and on schedule.

• Make sure HVAC work is performed safely, professionally, and according to company standards and applicable local codes.

• Explain system concerns, repair options, and recommendations clearly to homeowners.

• Perform final quality inspections before projects are completed.

• Verify that materials, equipment, and workmanship meet company standards.

• Accurately complete job documentation, photos, invoices, and reports using company software.

• Keep job sites organized and professional.

• Train and mentor junior HVAC technicians and apprentices.

• Properly care for company vehicles, tools, and equipment.

• Recognize appropriate opportunities for HVAC equipment replacement or system improvements when those solutions genuinely benefit the customer.

• Represent Chill Out A/C & Heating with professionalism, integrity, and exceptional customer service.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• At least 3 years of professional HVAC service, diagnostics, repair, and installation experience.

• EPA Certification required.

• HVAC State License preferred but not required.

• Valid driver's license.

• Strong skills in HVAC diagnostics, troubleshooting, service, repair, and installation.

• Experience leading HVAC technicians or overseeing job sites.

• Ability to accurately complete job documentation using company software.

• Ability to safely lift equipment and perform HVAC work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and other job site environments.

• Commitment to following established safety procedures and applicable local codes.

• HVAC trade license is a plus.

• Electrical or construction experience is a plus.
