Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: Must have a valid state nursing license Certifications: ACLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action is essential. Experience on a medical/surgical unit is preferred. Description: This role is for a registered nurse in a medical/surgical unit. The successful candidate will provide care to adult and geriatric patients. The patient-to-nurse ratio will be between 5:1 and 6:1. Equipment used includes telemetry monitors, IV pumps, bladder scanners, and EHR systems. Candidates should maintain a professional appearance according to dress code policies. Fingernails must be kept clean and at a reasonable length. Tattoos that may be considered offensive must be covered. Excessive jewelry is not permitted. The ability to adapt to changing patient needs is crucial.
