This individual is responsible for supporting facility operations through hands-on maintenance work and contractor coordination. Pay, Schedule, and Location

• $20/hour
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• Located in Woodridge, IL

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of building maintenance tasks including minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting
• Coordinate and assist with on-site work performed by external contractors and service providers
• Review and verify that contracted work is completed according to scope, schedule, and safety requirements
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, inspections, and vendor activity
• Support preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and extend facility lifespan 
• Assist with office or production area setup, equipment moves, and furniture installations
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas and assist with janitorial or grounds support as needed
• Track and restock building maintenance supplies and tools
• Communicate with team members, vendors, and leadership effectively to ensure timely issue resolution

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational or trade certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in building or facility maintenance
• Strong working knowledge of building systems: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry
• Experience working with outside vendors or contractors
• Basic computer literacy for logging maintenance activities and reviewing schedules
• Ability to read and understand work orders, safety procedures, and basic schematics
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor across the facility
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus
