As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Seasoned Patrol in Pennsauken, NJ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate $18.91 / Hour Job Schedule Fri: 08:45 AM – 05:15 PM Sat: 08:45 AM – 02:15 PM How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. Responsibilities Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial services location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established communication channels. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns. Monitor access points and assist with visitor processing, employee entry, and/or delivery activity in accordance with site‑specific protocols for a professional financial institution environment. Support Allied Universal and location leadership by completing routine reports, maintaining awareness of surrounding conditions, and communicating clearly with staff and/or first responders when needed. Minimum Requirements Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience. Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
