Introduction
Our client is an emergency and critical care veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team. The hospital provides comprehensive medical care for cats and dogs, delivering a wide range of services from urgent care to advanced diagnostics and critical treatment. This opportunity is well suited to veterinarians who enjoy working in a dynamic clinical environment and want to build strong relationships with clients while delivering high-quality veterinary care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m, open Friday 6pm - 12 am and provides 24/7 care on the weekends. The team offers flexible scheduling with both full-time and part-time options available, creating a rota designed to promote wellness and a healthy work-life balance. On average a doctor will work on and off for 2 - 3 weeks and will then have 9 consistent days off before starting the cycle again. Rest rooms are available to sleep on shift if required.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will provide comprehensive patient care across a varied caseload, including emergency and critical care cases. Responsibilities include performing thorough examinations, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, developing treatment plans, and maintaining strong communication with pet owners. You will also educate clients on treatment options and preventative care while working collaboratively with the support team to deliver excellent patient outcomes. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with support and mentorship available to help you develop your clinical skills and grow your career.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with advanced medical technology to support high-quality diagnostics and treatment, including an on-site laboratory, digital radiography, ventilator, endoscopy, cardiovascular ultrasound, and electrosurgical equipment. Services offered range from emergency and critical care to diagnostic imaging, ultrasonography, and in-house laboratory testing, allowing veterinarians to manage complex cases efficiently.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
