Driver Position

Haddad Plumbing and Heating Inc. is seeking a driver to join our team at our headquarters in Newark, New Jersey. This full-time, hourly position plays a vital role in supporting field operations by ensuring materials and equipment are delivered safely, accurately, and on time to job sites and other designated locations. The driver is responsible for operating non-CDL company vehicles, assisting with warehouse operations, and maintaining accurate inventory handling. This role requires a dependable, organized, and safety-focused individual who takes pride in their work and represents the company professionally at all times while working closely with warehouse staff, project teams, and management to ensure smooth daily operations and uninterrupted project progress. This position is essential in maintaining material availability, job efficiency, and overall operational support.

Responsibilities:

• Driving non-CDL trucks, box trucks, or straight trucks
• Proficient in material handling tasks: loading, unloading, picking, packing, inventory management, sorting, and other duties assigned by manager
• Conduct vehicle safety inspections accurately and adhere to safety protocols
• Present a clean, professional appearance with strong communication skills.

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma
• 5 years minimum driving experience
• Clean driving record with no points or accidents, valid NJ driver's license required.
• Experienced in driving non-CDL trucks, box trucks, or straight trucks
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or in a team

Compensation: $16-$20 hourly

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position Monday – Saturday. Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 3:30 pm. Saturdays- as needed.
