Registered Nurse - ICU

$1884.96/week - Job Summary: Provide expert critical care nursing in a dedicated Burn ICU unit, delivering advanced trauma and burn patient management. Ensure comprehensive, compassionate care while maintaining clinical excellence within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities: Administer and monitor complex ICU treatments, including hemodynamic management, CRRT, wound care, and line insertions. Collaborate with burn surgeons, intensivists, and multidisciplinary staff to develop and execute individualized patient care plans. Perform advanced procedures such as dressing changes, chest tube maintenance, and post-operative care. Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech, ensure adherence to hospital protocols, and uphold safety standards. Respond promptly to patient needs, utilizing skills in cardiac rhythm recognition and hemodynamic monitoring. Provide patient education and support to promote treatment understanding and recovery. Qualifications: Possess ICU nursing experience, ideally with burn care background. Hold BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications; NIH and ABLS preferred. Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic monitoring. Be able to perform advanced procedures such as line placements and dressings. Exhibit strong team collaboration skills in a high-acuity environment. Maintain current certifications and knowledge of burn protocols and critical care standards.
