Southern Health Partners has been a leader in correctional healthcare for more than 30 years, providing compassionate, quality medical care to an underserved population. We are looking for a Registered Nurse Medical Team Administrator (RN MTA) to join our team at the Colbert County Jail.

What You'll Do

As the Medical Team Administrator, you'll help oversee the day-to-day delivery of healthcare services within the facility while working alongside a dedicated correctional healthcare team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide and oversee direct patient care within the facility
• Coordinate and support daily clinical operations
• Supervise and collaborate with nursing and medical staff
• Ensure quality patient care and adherence to established policies and procedures
• Complete assessments, medication administration, treatments, and other nursing duties as needed
• Communicate with providers, facility leadership, and the healthcare team
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Help ensure the medical department operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable standards

Qualifications

What You'll Need

• Current RN license in the state of Alabama
• Current CPR certification
• Previous nursing experience required
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively and professionally in a correctional setting
