Our client, a small animal practice has an exciting leadership opportunity for a Medical Director! Are you looking for an opportunity to join a wonderful team of caring veterinary professionals? If so, you’ve come to the right place!

The veterinary practice is fully equipped with a new ultrasound, digital radiology and laser treatment, providing quality medicine & care to its patients in the local and surrounding communities. Our client is looking to expand as the practice continues to grow. The team is a team that enjoys working together to find solutions and the staff is dedicated and hardworking.

The Medical Director will be responsible for planning and overseeing the direction of our client’s veterinary hospital and growing our team members. Our ideal candidate will ensure the highest medical standards and profitable operations of the practice are met, while educating clients and staff and delivering the highest quality medical, surgical and preventative care to patients. Although we would prefer a doctor with at least three years of experience, new graduates are welcome to apply!

The practice is located in Butte County in the Sierra Nevada Foothills within the Northern Sacramento Valley. Nearby lakes offer many sporting activities throughout the year, such as skiing, sailing, swimming, fishing, camping and picnicking. Feather River Parkway offers a five-mile loop which overlooks the Feather River and is popular with walkers, joggers and bicyclists. It also contains a swim area, amphitheater and tennis courts. The practice is also relatively close to Napa Valley so a day trip can be planned in wine country! With so many amenities and outdoor recreational opportunities, this is great place to live and work.

Requirements:
DVM/VMD license. License to practice in the state of California.
