Warehouse AssociateVolt is immediately hiring Warehouse Associate in La Porte, Texas. As a Warehouse Associate, you will:Be comfortable with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.Be comfortable with receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming materials.Be comfortable with loading trucks with pipe, fittings, and materials (primary function of role).Be comfortable with banding, palletizing, and organizing pipe and fittings for shipment.Be comfortable with safely handling oversized and irregular bore plastic pipe, palletized fittings, and spools.Be comfortable with maintaining a clean, organized, secure, and safe warehouse environment.Be comfortable with performing shipping and receiving duties, including staging materials.This is a full time, Contract opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:Minimum 1-year recent sit?down forklift experience.Safely handle large, awkward, or oversized materials.Steel?toed boots for safety compliance.Forklift operator certification/experience with adapting to specialized equipment.Preferred Skills & Qualifications:Background in warehouse operations (shipping, receiving, delivery, inventory).Combilift experience (preferred but not required).Product knowledge or ability to quickly learn pipe/fittings handling.Knowledge of safe work practices in a pipe yard.Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour.*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Benefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
